Kristie, one of our frequent customers, loves coming to Plato's Closet in search of pieces to add to her unique wardrobe. When asked about her musical influences, she said she listens to Belle and Sebastian and Tallest Man on Earth, but also has a soft spot for anything catchy, so Beyonce and Taylor Swift are close to heart. For this outfit I was thinking of something edgy and comfortable to wear out at night to a bar or a party. I love how easy and chic a big sweater over leggings is, and the leather finish to the leggings along with the heels really takes that look into the evening.

This outfit would probably be more appropriate in the spring time, but this is my year long wardrobe. If you can’t tell, I was inspired by 70s and 80s styles, with the higher-waisted jeans and the backpack. I feel like the higher waist lets me get away with the crop top. The cardigan was from the vintage rack, so that just really solidifies this look in an earlier time.
