Phantoms of the Closet
We've been celebrating Halloween all week at Plato's Closet Bloomington! Our employees have been wearing costume sets from brands like Leg Avenue, and have even DIYed their own costumes from regular merchandise they found in the store. Hot Summer Trends Made Hotter for Fall
Still in love with all the trends from the summer, but want to keep warm in the cool weather? Britni felt the same way! She took her favorite summer looks and made them fall-ready by adding layers, leggings, and fall accessories.

“I wanted to create outfits that used popular trends from this summer and re-work them into looks appropriate for fall. There’s nothing wrong with packing away your summer clothes for a year, but for a student on a budget (like me), being able to wear your favorite pieces all year long really pays off.”
"Neons were everywhere this summer, so I’m sure everyone has a few really bright pieces. Pairing neons with black (or another neutral color) is an easy way to transition your favorite summer trend to blend in with darker fall essentials. I chose these electric blue jeans as an easy basic, and topped the look off with a cozy infinity scarf."

"I love florals, dots, and mixed patterns, but the look can feel a bit summery. I think that by layering prints on top, it creates a warmer look while still keeping the fun feeling. The ruffles on the top really add extra femininity and the jeggings are the comfiest pants I’ve ever worn!"
